The Agriland FS Foundation was established in 2002.  The Foundation serves as a non-profit organization that is funded by donations from Agriland FS, Inc. and individual shareholders of Agriland FS.  The objective of the Foundation is to administer funding for Agriland FS, Inc. to charitable organizations and activities that benefit rural communities in our trade territory.  Additionally, with our funding, we have the opportunity to sponsor scholarships for area high school seniors pursuing further education in agriculture, which is one of our largest projects we support.  Our mission is to support local agriculture, local organizations and rural community projects.

Requests are reviewed monthly by the Foundation committee, made up of six farmer shareholders and two Agriland FS employees that are appointed by the Board of Directors.  In a sense, this is allowing our shareholder/owners of our cooperative to participate in deciding the funding priorities.
